Marketing on Social Networks in a Viral Way - Book Review

Most small business people have been watching the social online networks, and they want to get involved, or have already taken the plunge into social networks to help drum up new customers, and excitement about their business. This is very wise, but marketing on social networks is much different than other types of marketing. The goal seems to be to get your information out in a "viral way" meaning, other people will take your information and send it to their friends, and so on.

If you'd like to explore this concept in greater depth and you are truly ready to take the plunge into marketing on social online networks, and there is a very good book I believe you should read. The name of the book is;

"Viral Loop: From Facebook to Twitter, How Today's Smartest Businesses Grow Themselves," by Adam Penenberg; Hyperion publishers, New York, NY; (2009); (288 pages); ISBN: 1-4013- 23499.

The author is an extremely good writer, and well versed in the new economy, and the digital age. The exact type of person you'd want to be your mentor if you were starting an online business, and trying to get notoriety using social Internet networks. Perhaps, this is why his book has done so well, and sold so many copies online; he uses the same strategies to sell his book as he advises to those who read it.

The author discusses social type networks such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and others. He also talks about Amazon, eBay, and PayPal. Mostly, I enjoyed the book due to its fast pace, humor, information content value, and hipness. Indeed, I think you'll also enjoy the book as well. This is a great reference book for anyone starting a business and marketing on the Internet. Please consider all this.
