Build a Better Blog - E-Book Review

If you haven't heard of Darren Rowse, from ProBlogger.net, then where have you been hiding? Some would call him the godfather of blogging, and he has helped thousands of bloggers kick-start and accelerate their blog careers.

This e-book is specifically for those struggling to make their blogs get visitors. He goes in great detail on subjects such as what to do when you have writer's block, as well as optimising your site to attract visitors and potential subscribers for you.

This is not a techie's beginner's book. It doesn't tell you how to set up a WordPress.org blog from scratch, but, even if you haven't got a blog set up, you'll be curious as to how the pros are making their blogs pay, or indeed how even successful amateurs are getting tonnes of traffic to their sites.

The book goes through a 31 Day action plan which will give you inspiration for each day of the week. Those who have used the book say that they always keep a copy of the book by their bedside as inspiration for the day ahead.

Darren Rowse has also written another book, ProBlogger, a more advanced book for those already with a following, but struggling to progress their website much further.

Build a better blog talks about the type of blog posts you should write from day one. It even gives you a brief introduction to search engine optimisation and how you can use your writing to improve your SEO ranking on Google etc.

There certainly isn't a better introductory guide to blogging than this, and Rowse has once again revealed his talent for helping newbie bloggers get a great kickstart in the blogging/internet marketing field in a short space of time. I used the book, and within three months I was getting a healthy following and feedback from my site all because I followed the simple steps. My site Plentyonyourplate.com went from PR 0 to PR 3 in the space of that 3 months.
