Attending the Ryan Deiss Traffic Conversion Summit

I'm all pumped up today. I arrived in Austin, Texas last night to attend The Traffic Conversion Summit being put on here this weekend by Ryan Deiss.

The Traffic and Conversion Summit is a three day event for online marketers. I expect to learn a lot that will help me in my business, and in yours too as I pass on some of what I learn in this blog.

It's all about search engine optimization, converting traffic to customers, and the latest online marketing techniques.

I registered here at the hotel last night and picked up the course manual, which is really whetting my appetite to get started. Here are just a few of the topics we're scheduled to tackle, beginning in about 2 hours, based on a quick perusal of the table of contents:

  • What's Working and What Isn't in Traffic
  • Mobile Marketing
  • Undercover List Building 2.0
  • Proven Conversion Boosters

There's plenty more, but that gives you an idea of the type of event this will be.

If you aren't familiar with Ryan Deiss, he is for lack of a better phrase an SEO genius who luckily is also a gifted teacher. I know this because I purchased his Perpetual Traffic course not long ago and have been working through the online training modules, all taught by Ryan himself.

Not only does that SEO course contain an incredible wealth of real world tactics for how to get free search engine traffic, but Deiss presents it in clear, easy to understand chunks and always with high energy. I like his style a lot.

Incidentally while Ryan Deiss was conducting his product launch for Perpetual Traffic he released a free document entitled "The Authority Codes" as an inducement to sign up on his mailing list.

The Authority Codes are actually technical search strings that you can use to search for blogs in your niche market area that accept comments, making it easy for you to get back links to your blog or website.

If you happened to have downloaded the Authority Codes but never used them, you need to find this document on your computer and read it now. It's actually a very powerful tool that can immediately help you get high quality back links to your site.

Ryan revealed early in his online course that the Authority Codes were initially not meant to be given away freely. That was a decision he made at the last minute during the product launch.
